Do The New Math...

You've probably seen the t-shirt worn by Yankee fans. The front of the shirt in bold type advises: Do The Math. The back of the shirt lists the 26 championship years the Yankees have celebrated. Fair enough, but there's a new shirt to be worn by Red Sox fans starting this morning. This one proudly proclaims: Do The New Math and the back should say: World Championships Won in this Century: Red Sox 2 Yankees 0 or for you purists who insist that the century starts when the first two digits change, Red Sox 2 Yankees 1...

For the first time in this decade/century, a team has won more than once and that would be the Boston Red Sox. Since the Yankees three-peated in '98/'99/'00, a different team has won the Fall Classic, until this year. Congratulations Red Sox Nation. Now, how about 2 for 2 for Boston with the Patriots???
