Prior to action yesterday, the Giants were the longest shot, at 8 to 1 to win the Super Bowl. The Patriots were the prohibitive, odds-on favorite. The Pats, who always find a way to win, will be trying for their 4th Super Bowl win in 7 years and are installed as 13 1/2 point favorites. The Giants, the team that proved it could, was last seen in the big game in a losing effort in 2001. Their last Super Bowl win came in 1991...
Tom Brady was sub-human while Eli was super human and at least for one game became the Manning brother. Peyton who? This game will be a rematch of the final game of the regular NFL season which the Pats barely won 38-35. The game went down to the closing minutes when Eli turned into the 'other brother' and the Patriots pulled it out...
