Attention Radio Stations: Now you can be number one in desalinization...

Word out of Pittsburgh this week is that an Erie cancer researcher has discovered a way to burn salt water. John Kanzius, trying to desalinate seawater, took a radio-frequency generator he developed to treat cancer and voila, guess what? It burns salt in water. Who knew? This discovery is being touted as the "most remarkable" water science discovery in a century...

The prospect of using salt water, the most abundant resource on earth as a fuel supply has the science world dribbling on their bunsen burners. Penn State chemist, Rustum Roy held his own demonstrations to confirm his own observations and calls the Kanzius discovery, "the most remarkable in water science in 100 years". Roy will meet with officials from the Departments of Energy and Defense to solicit research funding. Scientists want to find out whether the energy output from the burning hydrogen which eliminates salt, would be enough to power a car or other heavy machinery. One other use not mentioned is the ability to desalinate sea water for drinking...

I can see it now - your radio station can be number one 12+, 18-34 females and desalinization. Hey you might even win a Pulitzer Prize...

Commentary...

For those of you wondering why I haven't commented on the Bill Belichick mess, there's a reason. I don't know what to say about it. This is the guy who coaches the team that I root for. I think I'll let the dust settle on this case. I can only hope he stops what he's done, takes his punishment and moves on. How badly the image of the Patriots suffers is any one's guess. All I can say is they better beat San Diego, a very good team, or all their previous success (including the 3 Super Bowl championships) will be questioned...
