Because of the constant barrage of electronic toys manufactured to enhance your listening and viewing pleasure in the fastest and most-likely, smallest configuration imaginable, it's just about impossible to keep up with all of them. I think that much like everything else, a few things will stick and the rest will fall by the wayside, where they belong. I also wonder how many audiophiles there are anyway that won't settle for anything less than state-of-the-art, recording studio sound when listening to music? My guess is that it's a very small group and that the electronic industry is hyping us all...
